When Ian and Orion expressed a need for a logo for their new locally sourced cider company, I and the Sharp Eye Deer creative studio couldn’t refuse. Centered around developing and producing specialty craft cider from locally harvested trees in and around Jackson Hole, Farmstead Cider would need a logo that spoke to it’s roots.
The logo needed to be iconic but also have flexibility to showcase future endeavors under the Farmstead name.

Part of the Farmstead project was to build them a website that not only provided information about their various ciders, but it also needed to allow people to efficiently register their apple trees for harvest. Through some research and brainstorming I figured out that I could create a form for people to fill out detailing the location and amount of trees. Then I could convert that data into rough coordinates and anonymous points to be uploaded into a custom Google Map which is viewable on the website. Viewers could contribute while also understanding the scope of the orchards found in Jackson Hole.
